The MV5 series cameras are high-speed cameras built for high-end scientific research, aerospace, microfluidics, combustion, and other fields. They can be used for Time Resolved PIV or High Frequency PIV. These cameras use a specially-customized sensor and a unique circuit design to provide an effective bandwidth of 100 Gbps and excellent imaging quality. With models capable of recording at 2000 fps, 3600 fps, and 4500 fps at full 5 MP resolution, the cameras can match high frequency PIV lasers running at 2 x 1000 Hz. With the 300 ns frame straddle time, they also allow the user to capture the most challenging turbulent flows, including flows at supersonic speeds.
